On 14 October, Hammer’s third original Gothic classic film, The Mummy, will be released for the first time ever in HD, and presented in its original UK theatrical aspect ratio of 1.66:1. Fans will also be treated to a host of brand new extras, including an expert commentary from Marcus Hearn (read our interview with him here) and Jonathan Rigby.
Starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in what were iconic roles, the film was directed by the legendary Terence Fisher, who previously helmed Dracula (read our review of the 1958 film here, and also our thoughts on Dracula: Prince of Darkness here) and The Curse of Frankenstein (review here).
